Faith Alliance Of Metro Atlanta Events
The Faith Alliance of Metro Atlanta (FAMA) is in formation. Faith And The City will provide additional information when it becomes available. Meanwhile, the following events are scheduled with additional details to follow.

July 10: FAMA luncheon meeting for all interested individuals and organizations. Dr. Robert Franklin will be the speaker, at Ahavath Achim Synagogue, 600 Peachtree Battle Ave NW (corner of Northside Dr) from 12 pm - 1:30 pm. To make a reservation, please call 404-233-5501.

September 11: FAMA interfaith worship service of remembrance, reflection, and healing. The service is scheduled for 9 a.m. at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 413 Auburn Avenue, NE, Atlanta. Governor Roy Barnes and Atlanta Mayor Shirley Franklin will participate.

Specialist In Islamic Fundamentalism To Visit Central Congregational UCC

Details: A leading Pakistani scholar, Dr. Asaf Hussain, will visit Central Church (UCC) August 10-11. Dr. Hussain will host a conversation about Islamic fundamentalism on Saturday morning, August 10, beginning at 9:30 am and continuing until noon. A donation of $10 per person is recommended. Dr. Hussain also will give the sermon during the 11:00 am worship on August 11.
