Event: 2002 Children's Sabbath Celebration
The Interfaith Children's Movement of Metropolitan Atlanta (ICMma) is preparing for the 2002 Children's Sabbath Celebration, November 10. Children's Sabbath services are designed to lift up concerns for children in need and to encourage faithful commitment to meet those needs through prayer, hands-on service and advocacy.

Event: An Interfaith Conversation About Abraham
Author, Bruce Feiler, to lead an Interfaith discussion about Abraham. Monday, November 18 Bruce Feiler will be in Atlanta for a day long "Abraham Summit." High School students and seminarians are invited to attend the mid-day event at Columbia Theological Seminary. An evening discussion, which is free and open to the public, is scheduled at The Temple on Peachtree. At both events Mr. Feiler will discuss his book, Abraham: A Journey to the Heart of Three Faiths, then moderate a panel discussion with representatives from the Jewish, Christian and Muslim traditions.

Event: Jean Vanier to lead Christian Unity Retreat
Jean Vanier, Founder of L'Arche, will lead a two day retreat in June of 2003. L'Arche is an international federation of residential communities for those with mental disabilities. Participants will represent a variety of Christian traditions.
