Faith And The City Forum TV Program Receives AIB’s Allen Award
Faith And The City e.Letter, Oct. 13, 2004
Faith And The City Forum: Interfaith Dialogue on Public Issues , was recognized for programming excellence by Atlanta Interfaith Broadcasters Inc. at the 4 th Annual John H. Allen Awards, Oct. 12. The award for Best Community Service Non-Profit Program was given for “The Georgia State Flag: Building Community on Controversy, ” one program in the ongoing public affairs panel discussion series.
Religion and the 2004 Election

Religion is often a critical factor in American elections, but its salience varies from place to place and election to election. For 2004, it’s already clear that on issues ranging from abortion and faith-based social services to the Middle East and the war on terrorism, candidates and interest groups will be attempting to appeal to voters on the basis of their religious commitments.
