

Annual “Empty Bowl Dinner” benefits Project Connect program to assist homeless

Jewish Family & Career Services’ annual "soup kitchen" event benefits the organization’s Project Connect program to assist homeless people. The 11th Annual Empty Bowl Dinner will be held Sunday, November 11, 2007. It will feature pottery bowls crafted by Atlanta-area schools, soups and breads prepared by local restaurants and chefs, and entertainment by the Drum Café. The event will be hosted at First Presbyterian Church in Midtown Atlanta from 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm. Adults $20; kids 6-18 $5; kids under 6 free.
